Top 10 Shows on Prime Video - Here are 3 shows worth watching now

Prime Video has always been one of the best streaming services for standout shows and movies. It's a platform I turn to often and has some of my favorite shows of all time, including "The Boys" and "Fallout". But of course, with so many choices, it can be hard to know where to start or what to binge watch on the weekend.

When this happens, I always look at the top 10 to see what's trending. While this list doesn't always provide valuable entertainment, it does give me a rough idea of the latest hits (which viewers obviously enjoy if they stream regularly). So, to help you find the next show to watch, we dug into Prime Video's top 10 shows and picked three that are really worth your time.

This is based on the Top 10 shows on Prime Video as of Friday, July 12.

We start with one of the best shows of all time. The Boys is a dark superhero comedy set in a universe where "super" superheroes are admired by the public, but are often corrupt and selfish. The heroes work for a powerful corporation called Vought International, which controls their personalities and uses their powers for profit.

The series follows two main groups: the Boys, a team of vigilantes who seek to defeat Vought and its corrupt superheroes, and The Seven, Vought's elite superhero team. The Seven, led by the ruthless and unstable Homelander (Antony Starr), is the main antagonist. The Boys are led by Billy Butcher (Karl Urban), a former SAS operative with a personal grudge against Homelander. It's a genuinely thrilling and wildly entertaining show that shocks every time. And now you can't miss four seasons ("The Boys" Season 5 is also in production).

"My Lady Jane" is a new series on Prime Video that retells the historical story of Lady Jane Grey, who became Queen of England for only nine days in 1553. Unlike the actual tragic events, the show takes a satirical and comedic approach. The story follows Lady Jane (Emily Bader) as she is enthroned as queen, and is plunged into court intrigue and unexpected romance. Her husband-to-be, Guilford Dudley (Edward Bluemel), has a mysterious and dangerous secret. It also involves a plot to murder her cousin, King Edward (Jordan Peters), and throw the kingdom into chaos. A colleague described it as "the best prime video show you haven't seen."

Most people have already seen "Fallout," but if you haven't, it's a sign to watch it now.The "Fallout" TV series is a live-action adaptation of the popular video game franchise by Bethesda. It is set in a post-apocalyptic future where society has been devastated by a nuclear war, with particular highlights taking place in Los Angeles. Survivors live in bunkers, called vaults, to escape radiation and other dangers on the surface.

The series does not directly adapt the plots of specific games, but rather develops an original story within the established "Fallout" world. The story begins with a nuclear attack in 2077 and jumps forward 219 years to focus on the lives of the Vault's inhabitants and the challenges they face in a ruined world inhabited by mutants, raiders, and other threats. Major characters include Lucy (Ella Purnell), a vault dweller with an optimistic spirit, Maximus (Aaron Morten), a steel-bound soldier, and Cooper Howard (Walton Goggins), a former actor turned bounty hunter turned ghoul.
