The fireworks are coming to an end, but there are still some great movies on Netflix. Whenever I'm not sure what to watch next, I always look at the top 10 most-watched movies. Of course, not all of them are necessarily winners ("Trigger Warning"), but it's a great place to start.

We've whittled Netflix's list of top 10 movies down to the best three to resume after the holidays. This list includes a reboot of an 80s action series starring Eddie Murphy, an Oscar-nominated film inspired by a true story, and the best children's movie ever.

In [Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, Eddie Murphy returns as street-smart Detective Axel Foley. This time Foley returns to Los Angeles to reunite with his estranged daughter (Taylor Page). Her ex-boyfriend (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) becomes Axel's new partner, and the three must work together to uncover a conspiracy.

Old buddies Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and John Taggart (John Ashton) return to help solve the case. With Murphy's signature wit, the film combines thrilling action and comedy, and features new characters in addition to familiar faces. With an 80% audience turnout at Rotten Tomatoes, the film seems to be a hit with old and new fans alike.

You must have seen "The Little Rascals" hundreds of times as a child, but somehow it's just as charming and funny now as it was then: the classic 1994 film adaptation of the series features the headstrong Spanky (Travis Tedford) and his straight-right-hand man It follows the adventures of a group of mischievous children led by Alfalfa (Bug Hall).

The boys form a "He-Man Misogynist Club" to eliminate girls, but trouble brews when Alfalfa commits the cardinal sin of getting a girlfriend, Darla (Brittany Ashton Holmes). After the gang tries to sabotage their budding romance, the clubhouse is accidentally destroyed, and they must also build a new go-kart for the annual race.

I may be biased in including "The Blind Side" here because it is set near my home state of Virginia, but the fact that it is in Netflix's top 10 confirms what I already knew.

"The Blind Side" tells the true story of Michael Oher, played by Quinton Aaron, who overcame childhood poverty to play in the NFL. Without the support of his adoptive parents, Sean and Lee Ann Toohey, though, his dream would have remained a dream. The Blind Side followed the familiar formula of an inspirational drama, but was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Picture and won an Oscar for Sandra Bullock's impassioned performance as Leigh Anne.
