hi chain. This was a challenge. Before I was finally able to make a link and complete the puzzle, it took me getting three answers and a lot of wrong answers on the board. Still, the spangram was the last thing I got when it was just a straight line to connect.

I quickly got the watch, spelled backwards in the upper right corner. It was soon followed by a split next to it. What do those words have in common? Absolutely nothing it turns out.

At this point, I was racking up unconnected words (interestingly, including both halves of spangram, "advice" and "useful"), but was struggling to get a third correct answer. When I finally learned, I was none wiser at first until I consulted my list again...

Watch and learn? ah! This is a phrase of about 3 words! THAT MEANT DIVIDE HAD TO GO WITH CONQUER.

I then found forgiveness on the right, which means I was looking for forgetfulness on the bottom right. All that remained was a spangram - useful advice.

I'm not sure if spangram really fits the answer, but it was still a fun brain teaser. Hopefully tomorrow will provide the same "aha" moment...
