Stage 1 will take riders on a 173km journey from Dunkirk to Lutuke, ending with 10.4 laps of the 3km circuit. The hilly route takes 51 important climbs: Le Ventus d'alembon (Km102), Preures (Km108.9), Escrange (Km110.6) and Bezinghem (Km40.6), so it is far from the flat route to the final 40 km. 

Stage 2 has a smaller hill as it moves 184km south between Wimeroo and Abebir. Although not an undefined mountain, the five main climbs of Huplandre (Km25.3), Le Haut Pichot (Km45.3), Frencq (Km52.5), Quesnoy Le Montant (Km130.1) and finally Moyenneville (km141.2) were decisive in determining the results of the day.

After a two craggy day, the steps were taken. The Gisley is a true sprint day from Saint Laurent Blanche to Bouchen, so all breaks are controlled and a mass gallop is expected at the end. 

Stage 4 is even flatter than Stage 3, with an elevation of only 611m and over 171km, so it could be another sprint stage. The last part of the stage runs over 2km laps, each of which includes a small climb and 22 sectors of cobblestone. 

Stage Five is the Queen Stage and it is brutal. The 179km route from the Alps to Kassel climbs 2,606 m and culminates with 8 laps of a small finish circuit. In each of these 8 laps the rider will have to work on multiple short sharp climbs, which means it will be a real war of attrition.

The race ends at Stage 6, and the round trip to Dunkirk is an almost flat journey, and it's the 3rd chance the sprinter will shine.
