I can't watch the internet for a few minutes without hearing anything about GPT-4o.OpenAI certainly got a lot of attention when it revealed the latest ChatGPT platform model, and is excited about what the latest version can do and what it means for the future of using AI.

However, 1 question that we haven't discussed so much is how much it costs to use GPT-4o and all its incredible features can anyone jump in and start a conversation, or do I need to be a member of ChatGPT Plus to enjoy the new model? 

Fortunately, OpenAI wants everyone to be able to enjoy GPT-4o, so you don't have to pay to use it. Once the new model is fully rolled out, you can engage in it in all sorts of convenient ways, and you do not need to sign up for a ChatGPT Plus account.

However, access to ChatGPT is limited for free users who are true of GPT-4o.On the company's price page, the free version of ChatGPT says, "Just started using ChatGPT for individuals. This page also lists "Access restrictions to GPT-1o" as one of the benefits offered with the free plan. The next section describes what "restricted access" means.

For the cost of full access to ChatGPT Plus, including the ability to fully delve into Gpt—4o, you will have to spend毎月20 per month. ChatGPT Plus also comes with features such as early access to new features, data analysis, file upload, vision and web browsing, DALL•E image generation, creating and using custom GPTs so you're not tied to a contract and you can try it for a month freely and see if you feel it's worth it. We have a lot to offer.  As mentioned earlier, the ChatGPT pricing page lists "Access restrictions to GPT-4o" as part of the free plan. It's pretty vague, as it's not exactly clear what is limited. Are you limited in how you can use it? Do you get all the features but limited prompts? These important questions will help you decide whether to spendChat20 per month on ChatGPT Plus.

The most important limitation is that you can send a certain number of messages to GPT-3.5o before scaling back to the freely available GPT-4o (which is still powerful, but new Unfortunately, OpenAI doesn't say exactly what the limit is. 

"The number of messages that free users can send with GPT-4o is limited depending on usage and demand. When the limit is reached, ChatGPT will automatically switch to GPT-3.5, allowing users to continue the conversation," reads the company's blog post.

An important part of it is "depending on application and demand".It sounds like a slide scale based on how many people are using GPT-4o at a time. If it is slow, free users may receive more messages. On the pricing page, OpenAI states that paid members receive up to 5 times more messages than free members. However, not knowing exactly how many messages a free member can send is not particularly helpful. 

The company offers a breakdown of what free users can do with gpt-4o, but a message is available.

That's a good part of the GPT-4o feature, but the phrase "GPT-4 level intelligence" sounds like you can't get the full intelligence that 4o provides, but still, you can definitely get a good feel about what it can do.
