There's no April Fool's Day, just more new shows premiering this week on Netflix, Apple TV Plus, other streaming services, and broadcast and cable TV.

There are two Apple shows on TV this week: the new noir mystery "Sugar" starring Colin Farrell and the second season of "Loot." Also on tap are "Ripley," a series adaptation of Patricia Highsmith's thrilling novel, and "Star Trek: Discovery," which is in its final season. New shows of note this week include.

Lisa Vanderpump is expanding her reality TV footprint to France, specifically the luxurious and exclusive French estate known as Chateau Rosabelle. Her hand-picked staff works, lives, and plays in a decadent environment while offering guests a curated, once-in-a-lifetime experience.

But while there are fireworks-filled proposals and lavish dinner parties, there are also fierce rivalries, raucous scandals, and outrageous confrontations. In the midst of it all, Lisa discovers if she is the right team to add to her ever-growing empire.

Maya Rudolph stars in this comedy that returns one year after her divorce from high-tech billionaire John Novak (Adam Scott) with new challenges and triumphs for Molly Wells. Now the head of her own successful philanthropic foundation, Molly has severed ties with men and embarked on a journey of wellness. She is completely dependent on her trusted assistant, Nicholas (Joel Kim Boozer). She is the only one who can get her to drink kale smoothies with gin.

Meanwhile, the foundation's executive director, Sofia Salinas (Micaela Je Rodriguez), who runs the show in her usual no-nonsense style, is thrown into disarray by Molly's charismatic architect friend Isaac (O-T Fagbenle). [Patricia Highsmith's 1955 crime novel "The Talented Mr. Ripley" was adapted into a 1999 film starring Matt Damon, Jude Law and Gwyneth Paltrow. And now, Andrew Scott plays Tom Ripley, a charismatic con man struggling to make ends meet in New York City in the early 1960s. He is hired by a wealthy man to travel to Italy and convince his wayward son Dickie (Johnny Flynn) to return home. Tom takes the job and sets out on a path of deception, fraud, and murder.

"Discovery" ventures into streaming services, something the "Star Trek" series has never done before. It is Paramount Plus' first "Star Trek" series, and its journey will conclude with its fifth and final season. Captain Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) and the crew of the USS Discovery have traveled far, wide and through time. Now they discover a mystery that will take them across the galaxy to find an ancient power that has been deliberately hidden for centuries. A dangerous enemy, who will stop at nothing to obtain that power, joins them in their hunt.

This is a modern and sophisticated love letter to the classic noir mystery with a major twist.

Dressed in a suit and tie, John Sugar is a private detective who loves old Hollywood movies. He is hired to find the missing granddaughter of legendary producer Jonathan Siegel (James Cromwell). But as the detective digs deeper into the case, he begins to uncover family secrets that the Siegel clan wants to bury. In addition, John has his own dark past, which comes to light as he gets closer to the truth.
