Cameron Diaz's kitchen will spark a "pandemic" in 2024, experts say.

Cameron Diaz is best known for her Hollywood movie appearances and red carpet style, but this time her gorgeous kitchen is dominating the stars.

And while the actress seems to be temporarily away from the big screen, she's busy cooking up a storm, sharing delicious recipes on her popular "Cooking with Cameron" blog on social media.

On her Instagram account, Cameron is seen cooking up delicious meals in her stunning kitchen, which combines cozy wooden cabinets, gorgeous marble countertops, and a brass-accented backsplash. This beautiful design, using timeless materials, exudes an air of luxury and has caught the eye of fans and interior design experts alike. So why is everyone so enthusiastic about Cameron's kitchen?

We asked interior design experts to share their thoughts on why this kitchen trend will "bloom" in 2024 and how you can get this look in your own home.

"Cameron Diaz's kitchen is a prime example of understated luxury. It looks luxurious, expensive, and chic, but it also maintains a warm and cozy atmosphere," says Sam Graig, senior designer at Swoon.

"Cameron combines exquisite, deeply veined white marble countertops with humble, refined wood cabinetry. This blend allows both materials to stand out in their own light and together form a cozy, yet cool display. Brushed metal accessories are the cherry on top of this kitchen, adding depth and dimension and bringing the heart of the home to life.

Indeed, warm wood and marble continue to be two of the top choices in kitchen design, the perfect combo to achieve luxury in a minimalist space. "Wood features are the finish of choice for those looking to create a softer, warmer kitchen environment and are very set to become a trend in 2024, rising in popularity once again," says Darren Watts, showroom development and design director for Wren Kitchens . While wood is certainly a staple of traditional kitchen design, the material is so versatile that it can be combined with complementary marble, copper, and steel, like Cameron, to create a modern finish that fits any kitchen." Amy Wilson, interior designer for 247 Blinds and 247 Curtains, agrees, "Cameron Diaz's kitchen features two timeless design materials: marble and wood. Diaz's wood cupboards and drawers are chic yet minimalist. People will often choose wooden materials for their kitchen spaces because they are stylish yet easy to clean and maintain."

In addition to functional design, there are also cosmetic elements that complement the kitchen style, such as the clever use of lighting that creates a warm atmosphere.

"Cameron Diaz used natural marble with gray and rust/brown accents as a foundation for the other elements of the kitchen," says Watts.

"Copper accessories and subtle wall downlights cast a warm golden light gently down the walls and shelves. The gray tones of the marble blend perfectly with the steel and black gas stove, while the rust tones harmonize with the copper accessories, door handles, wood cabinetry, and oak plank flooring."

In addition, personal decorative touches can be seen, such as her collection of ceramic bowls stacked on wooden shelves and marble cutting boards.

Of course, if one does not have the budget to buy expensive marble or wood furniture, one can add accessories instead.

"If you want to incorporate marble in a subtle way, try using accessories. Fruit bowls with a strong presence, tea and coffee tins, plates and flatware, etc. Or, if you're an open-plan kitchen diner, invest in a good quality marble dining table. Incorporating wooden accessories into any kitchen can create a striking aesthetic. Small accessories such as wooden cutting boards, knife blocks, and knives with wooden handles give the kitchen a professional finish."

If you want to upgrade your kitchen for the New Year but don't have the budget for a full renovation, you can still achieve Cameron's warm and inviting kitchen style. Just as you know how to make your living room look more expensive, there are clever things you can do to transform your kitchen into an A-list.

"Creating such a style in your own home is as simple as choosing similar striking features and materials that contrast with your worktop materials," Wilson suggests. 'Marbled vases, roller blinds with eye-catching patterns, or prints in contrasting colors, for example. A marble-effect cake stand and a bottle of wine on the counter tie the space together, creating a cohesive yet homey feel."

"The marble is a great addition to the room," says Wilson.

Additionally, using wood and marble accessories is an affordable way to add style and flair to a kitchen. Pair warm wood accessories, such as large cutting boards and countertop storage, with matte metal utensils and appliances to create a chic culinary display. And to match the marble, incorporate organic materials into the design, including bar carts and drink trolleys." And don't forget to put together a collection that Cameron would be proud of.

So if you're looking to upgrade your kitchen style but can't decide between classic wood and luxe marble, why not combine the two? It's clear that these styles are timeless, classic, and here to stay.
