Sony's next PlayStation Showcase will be streamed live today, Wednesday, May 24, and will likely show off the next PS5.

Importantly, this is a full PlayStation Showcase. Sony regularly holds "State of Play" events, which are smaller presentations dedicated to a single game (most recently Final Fantasy 16).

Since the last PlayStation Showcase took place in 2021, PS5 users have been a bit impatient over the past few months, waiting for Sony to confirm when the next one would be held. Fortunately, our patience has been rewarded and the next PlayStation Showcase is just a few days away.
