After weeks of silence, the PS5 console is back on Sony Direct: the PS5 is $499 and the PS5 Digital is $399. This is the first time since April 20 that the PS5 has been restocked at Sony Direct. This is also the second time today that GameStop has restocked the PS5, as several bundles were previously available at GameStop.

Upon entering the virtual queue, an estimated wait time will be displayed. Wait times vary and there is a good chance that you will have to wait "over an hour". Even in that case, do not despair. Your status may change rapidly and your wait time may be shorter than estimated. (For example, after waiting 20 minutes for a previous PS5 restocking event, the wait was reduced from "over an hour" to just 15 minutes.)

In addition, the captcha may have to be solved. (A simple challenge/question to make sure you are not a bot). Usually, you must select a radio box or choose a specific image from a group of photos. So, keep your browser tabs prominent or you may miss the captcha challenge and lose your place in the queue.
