Numerous leaks may have rescheduled the official "Battlefield 6" trailer.

The unveiling of the next "Battlefield" game is set for June, but multiple leaks may have already spoiled the surprise. Not only is it almost certain that the game will have a modern, slightly futuristic setting, but one online detective has practically recreated the entire reveal trailer in gif form from a number of leaked screenshots.

No doubt developer DICE and publisher EA are not happy that the game's first public trailer is already circulating online and may have taken the plunge. According to Tom Henderson, a well-known Battlefield insider, another trailer will "almost certainly" be released next month.

Whether this means that the leaked trailer will be shelved or that it will be officially released at a later date is unclear. But it would definitely make sense for something different to be released a few weeks later so that the release packs a punch. Although, it would be nice to see the current video without that pesky watermark.

The library of screenshots in the released trailer is far from the only "Battlefield 6" leak in recent weeks. The game will feature an all-new battle royale mode, and there are reports that the single-player campaign will also get a new look. Additionally, the game is said to feature a robot dog that you can ride.

There were also rumors that the game would be next-gen and PC exclusive, but EA has confirmed that the game will be cross-gen compatible and can be played without a PS5 or Xbox Series X. For those who are having a hard time finding a restock of PS5s and are getting impatient, this will be a relief.
