It may have been revealed by Beats' Studio Bud in a new "official" rendering.

Leaks of the Beats Studio Buds continue to pour in: German site WinFuture has posted "official" renderings of the unannounced wireless earbuds.

These rendered images all feature red, white, and black models, and show the charging case connected via USB-C.

It is clear from previous leaked photos of the Studio Buds and images from Taiwanese regulators that this new set of Buds could be much smaller than the previous true wireless Beats and AirPods earphones. [The Powerbeats Pro is still one of the best sports headphones out there, but its huge case makes it a bit cumbersome to carry around.

USB-C charging might also make it easier to properly handle different chargers and cables if you misplace the original ones.

And while we had heard rumors of a red model, these latest leaked images make a more colorful alternative to the black and white model seem more likely.

WinFuture's render dump was not the only news to come out over the weekend; Apple regular leaker Jon Prosser claimed that the Beats Studio Buds will be announced "soon" and will cost $149, slightly less than the Powerbeats Pro

Apple has also announced that it will be launching the Beats Studio Buds "soon.

That seems realistic, given that Apple probably wants to keep the higher price point clear for other rumored upcoming headphones like the AirPods 3 and AirPods Pro 2. Prosser also said that the Studio Buds' design was similar to what is planned for the AirPods Pro 2, suggesting that Apple could finally remove the distinctive stalk from the next non-pro AirPods.

The lower price will also help the Beats Studio Buds undercut potential high-end rivals like the new Sony WF-1000XM4. Active noise cancellation may or may not be included.
