While restocking of the Xbox Series X has been quiet in recent weeks, GameStop may have dropped a hint that it will be taking new orders for Microsoft's bulky black box in the near future.

@LordofRestocks discovered that GameStop has quietly added a list of limited edition Halo Infinite Xbox Series X consoles. Presumably because GameStop sold out of stock, the listing was removed from the site before the holiday season, as the link below shows, but is now back on the retailer's online store.

The re-listing of the Halo Infinite Xbox Series X on GameStop's website is significant because retailers usually restock their product pages as soon as they add them to their sites; GameStop is now selling the new Xbox Series X and PS5 listings, and there have been several instances in the past of subsequent restocking.

It is important to note that the listing in question is not for the regular Xbox Series X, but for the limited edition Halo Infinite console, which was released to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Halo and the launch of Halo Infinite, and was inspired by Halo It is decorated with custom patterns and comes with a uniquely designed controller. Launched last November, it is priced at $549, a slight increase from the Xbox Series X's base price of $499.
