If you've been eyeing the new OnePlus 8 but waiting for the right deal to come along, you won't have to wait long. The phone, which goes on sale Wednesday (April 29), will offer up to $350 off the $699 OnePlus 8 on T-Mobile. (This deal is available starting April 29).

This is half the price of the OnePlus 8, which is already one of the better deals these days, since you can get a device with Snapdragon 865 power, 5G connectivity, and a dazzling 90Hz display for under $700.

Opportunities to save hundreds of dollars off the price of a new phone with a trade-in are not uncommon, but discounts on additional lines present another great opportunity to save and a compelling reason to buy a phone through T-Mobile rather than the unlocked route.

In our review of the OnePlus 8, we praised the device's battery life and general performance, but were less impressed with the quality of photos we were able to capture with the triple-lens rear camera. Low-light photography is very good, but the lack of dedicated telephoto or zoom optics and some quirks in the OnePlus' post-processing don't always compare to images taken with the Samsung Galaxy S20, iPhone 11 Pro, and Pixel 4.

Still, the OnePlus 8 is a very good value; some Android phone manufacturers are asking for nearly double the OnePlus 8's asking price for a device with a comparable processor and display. It also goes without saying that the handset supports 5G, but this feature alone has driven up the price of most flagships across the board.

When you factor in a further $350 savings on top of that, the OnePlus 8 starts to look like an absolute bargain. Even if OnePlus were to discount this phone again, this would likely be one of the best deals we've ever seen.
