The Xbox Series X gameplay reveal event on May 7 at 11 a.m. ET is less than 24 hours away. During this showcase, Microsoft will demonstrate live next-generation gameplay of "Assassin's Creed Valhalla," as well as a number of third-party titles. This event is part of Microsoft's ongoing Inside Xbox live streams. These streams, also called Xbox 20/20, at least for the rest of the year, will be part of an ongoing effort to share a little more information about the Xbox Series X each month. Some Xbox 20/20 episodes will focus on games, some on hardware some focus on secondary features such as Project xCloud.

Those who wanted to see Microsoft's first-party titles will get what they want, but they will have to be patient; the July episode of Xbox 20/20 will (probably) include Halo Infinite, Wasteland 3, Minecraft Dungeons, and Microsoft Flight simulator, and will focus on Xbox Series X exclusives, including Microsoft Flight simulator. Since Microsoft owns 15 different game studios, we could theoretically see quite a few exclusive titles in July.

Besides that, we don't know much about the May 7 event, except what Microsoft has already told us: that Ubisoft will show off several titles, including the new Assassin's Creed, and perhaps other anticipated multi-platform games will also make an appearance. (Cyberpunk 2077 is currently the subject of a lot of speculation, but with the game planning something of its own for June 11, we'll see what happens.) We don't know how long the stream will last, but the April presentation was just over 45 minutes, so it seems like a good idea to set aside an hour for the May 7 event.
