Call of Duty 2020 "Cold War" Gameplay Leaked – Watch it here

Footage of "Call of Duty 2020" (or "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War") has apparently leaked online. This is very low-resolution footage of an early build of the game, but the leaker promises there will be more, and it looks very promising.

The source is TMTJulian_ on Twitter, but the gameplay is from Mark Walshburg (and his alt account Not Mark Walshburg). Walshburg said he was somewhat overwhelmed by the attention to his post and is waiting to post more from the 45-minute video.

The 77-second video shows a player speeding through a map purportedly titled "Tank." The map has repair bays for armored vehicles, plenty of cover, vertical movement options, and visibility that allows for cunning headshots.

In case the title didn't convince you, the basic (and sometimes missing) textures and lack of a HUD are strong evidence that this is some sort of in-development title, if not a Call of Duty title.

COD: Black Ops Cold War is expected to be announced soon for the usual October COD release window. However, publisher Activision and developer Treyarch have so far remained silent. Activision has just delayed the release of the "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" Season 4 DLC due to protests in the U.S., so we may have to wait a little longer.

Other leaked information reveals a poster and the title of the game. There are also rumors that the game will be a cross-gent title, playable on both PS4 and Xbox One, as well as the upcoming PS5 and Xbox Series X, like Call of Duty: Ghosts, which was released in 2013.
