iPad Pro2020 Hits Lowest Price Ever Ahead of Father's Day

The 12.9-inch iPad Pro is Apple's new premium tablet. Priced at $999, it is not cheap, but this early Father's Day sale brings it down to its lowest price ever.

For a limited time, Amazon is offering the 12.9-inch iPad Pro (2020 edition) for $949. That's a $50 discount and one of the best deals we've seen on an iPad. (B&H Photo has the same price).

With its powerful features and powerful CPU, the 2020 iPad Pro is one of the best tablets you can buy, especially for those who need big power. 2020 iPad Pro has a 12.9" (2732 x 2048) Liquid Retina display and A12Z Bionic chip, and 128GB of storage. It also features a new dual-camera system with LIDAR scanner and Wi-Fi 6 support.

Our review of the iPad Pro 12.9-inch found that this tablet is as close to a laptop replacement as Apple has ever acquired. In Geekbench 5, which measures overall performance, the iPad Pro 12.9 recorded 4,720 in the multi-core portion. By comparison, the Surface Pro 7 scored a lower 4,443.

The iPad Pro also impressed us with its graphics performance: after applying color filters and transitions in the Adobe Rush app, it took only 34 seconds to export the 4K video to 1080p. In contrast, the iPhone 11 Pro took 46 seconds to do the same.

Simply put, the 12.9 iPad Pro is a solid choice if you are looking for a tablet with laptop-like performance.
