The OnePlus Buds outperform the AirPods when it comes to charging speed, providing 10 hours of power in just 10 minutes of charging time.

In an interview with TechRadar, Jay Liu, project manager for the OnePlus Buds, explained that the use of OnePlus' Warp Charge technology allows for very fast charging in the company's first truly wireless headphones. Comparatively, AirPods can only be charged for three hours on a 15-minute charge.

Reassuringly, no special charger like OnePlus' Warp Charge 30 is needed. As long as the charger has an output of 10W or more, it can charge the 430 mAh battery in Buds' case at maximum speed. [There is no wireless charging option for the Buds, however; Liu explained that "that would increase the cost of the earbuds," which OnePlus wants to keep down. OnePlus previously announced on its forums that the Buds have a total playback time of 30 hours, or 7 hours without the charging case.
