Fitbit Versa3 and Fitbit Sense Smartwatch Images Leak — Here's your First Look

Images of three new Fitbit devices, the Fitbit Versa 3, the Fitbit Inspire 2, and the new Fitbit Sense, have leaked, revealing the first real images of Fitbit's upcoming fitness tracker and smartwatch.

First published on German site WinFuture, the photos reveal the successor to last year's Fitbit Versa 3 and Fitbit Inspire, as well as a new smartwatch called Fitbit Sense.

The timing of this leak is not too unexpected, as Fitbit, acquired by Google, typically rolls out new devices in early fall. For the most part, there doesn't seem to be much radical change in the design of any of the wearables.

The Fitbit Versa 3 has the same square shape as the previous two versions, but instead of physical buttons like the Fitbit Versa 2, it appears to have a recessed touch area on the left side like the Fitbit Charge 4.

As can be seen from the icon on the back of the watch, the Versa 3 appears to have built-in GPS, which seems inevitable given that Fitbit added this feature to the Charge 4 earlier this year. The Versa 3 will also have a built-in microphone and appears to be waterproof. Given that Google now owns Fitbit, it is likely that Alexa support for the Versa 2 will be replaced by Google Assistant.

According to the photos, the Versa 3 will be available in at least two colors, black and gold, and will come with a removable wrist strap.

Fitbit Sense is Fitbit's new product name and, according to the photos, could be a more premium option for the Versa 3. It appears to have an EKG icon on the underside in addition to a GPS icon, similar to the Apple Watch 5 and Samsung Galaxy Watch 3.

The third icon on the back could be a thermometer, which could allow Sense to measure body temperature.

Design-wise, the Fitbit Sense is very similar to the Versa 3, but with two small indentations on either side of the bezel. This also has multiple finishes.

The design of the Fitbit Inspire 2 is very similar to the Fitbit Inspire HR, the company's current sub-$100 fitness tracker with a heart rate monitor; the Inspire and Inspire HR are currently discounted to $49 and $69 respectively Given that they are currently discounted to $49 and $69, respectively, these are likely to be discontinued.

What remains to be seen is whether Fitbit will discontinue the Fitbit Inspire.
