Early Prime Day Deal: Google's Pixel5 is already off 550

With the new Pixel 5, Google has taken steps to keep the price of its latest flagship device down. And thanks to a series of Verizon promotions, you can get the Pixel 5 for even less than the suggested price of $699. And the best part is that you don't have to wait for Prime Day.

When you buy a Pixel 5 from Verizon and sign up for one of four new unlimited data plans, the carrier will give you up to $550 in credits. The credit will appear on your monthly bill and will be spread out over 24 months. Existing Verizon customers who upgrade to a new phone can get up to a $350 credit.

Verizon's list is fairly extensive, but you must have an eligible device to qualify. The newer the phone, the higher the credit you will receive.

This isn't the only great deal Verizon is offering Pixel 5 buyers: sign up for Verizon's Above, Beyond, Do, Play, or Get Unlimited plans and receive a $250 Verizon eGift Card. To get the gift card, head to Verizon's Digital Rebate Center after checkout and enter the code SWITCHER250.

If you stack these two promotions, you can get a Pixel 5 and $100.

The Pixel 5 is a 5G-enabled device with a Snapdragon 765G system-on-chip. the 12.2MP main shooter and 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens are Google's best photo processing features. the Pixel 5 has Google Assistant listens and includes clever software features like "Hold for Me," which alerts you when a live person is ready to answer the phone.

The Pixel 5 also comes with trials of Google Play Pass and YouTube Premium. Verizon is offering a Marvel's Avengers game download offer to Pixel 5 buyers who sign up for the unlimited plan, sending them a unique link to get the game from Square Enix.

The Pixel 5 is available for pre-order now. According to Verizon, the phone is expected to ship around October 29.
