How to Watch iPhone 12 Launch Events - Stream It Live Here

The iPhone 12 launch event is less than an hour away. The launch event starts today, October 13, at 1 pm ET, and our iPhone 12 launch event live blog is up and running so you can follow along.

The big news, of course, is that Apple is expected to unveil four new iPhone 12 handsets, packing 5G, faster A14 Bionic processors and bigger camera upgrades. The company also just announced the colors of the iPhone 12.

But that's not all. Apple is also rumored to be announcing other new products, including a new, less expensive HomePod mini and a possible new Apple TV. I'd like to continue. Here is a guide to the live streaming of the iPhone 12 event and what to expect to see.

As with other Apple product announcements, there is no shortage of options when it comes to watching the unveiling of the iPhone 12. It has an Apple Events app.

In recent years, Apple has also turned to YouTube to broadcast events, and there is currently a placeholder for the iPhone 12 launch event on Apple's YouTube channel. Presumably it will be released when the iPhone 12 is unveiled on October 13.

The iPhone 12 event should feature four new iPhones, but there are also rumors that Apple is planning a new HomePod mini. There is also a possibility of new AirPods Studio headphones and AirTags trackers.

Apple is said to be launching four iPhone 12 models in various sizes. These include the 5.4-inch iPhone 12 mini, 6.1-inch iPhone 12, 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro, and 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max.

According to previous reports, iPhone 12 pre-orders will begin the Friday following the Apple event, i.e., October 16. iPhone 12 will go on sale a week later, on October 23.

All new iPhones should offer the faster and more efficient A14 Bionic processor and 5G connectivity, a first for Apple. They will also feature an OLED display across the board, so there will be no LCD displays.

So how will the iPhone 12 differ from the iPhone 12 Pro? The iPhone 12 mini and regular iPhone 12 will likely have two rear cameras (a wide lens and an ultra-wide lens), while the iPhone 12 Pro and for optical zoom.

According to the most recent iPhone 12 camera leaks, the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 will have a more powerful digital zoom, while the iPhone 12 Pro model will have 3x to 4x optical zoom.

While there is some debate on this, at least the iPhone 12 Pro Max should have a LiDAR sensor, introduced in the iPad Pro 2020, which should improve camera performance as well as the augmented reality experience.

As for pricing, the latest leaks show the iPhone 12 mini starting at $649 and the iPhone 12 at $749. The iPhone 12 Pro will start at $999 and the iPhone 12 Pro Max at $1099.

While Apple may fully support 20W fast charging in the iPhone 12, several reports have indicated that Apple will not include the charger at all to save costs while helping the environment. Therefore, if you need fast charging, you will likely have to pay extra.

Apple should announce other new products at its October event, including a new HomePod mini speaker. Since Apple just removed third-party headphones and speakers from its stores, this is a sure sign that Apple is preparing to launch new audio products.

The HomePod mini is said to cost $99 and be only 3.3 inches tall. The release date could be November 16 or 17. The hub may offer ultra-wideband (UWB).

We also hear that Apple is preparing AirTags, a new type of product finder to compete with Tile and the best key finders; AirTags should stand out with its ability to use ultra-wideband and find products via augmented reality apps . However, the latest rumors suggest that AirTags will be delayed.

The AirPods Studio will be Apple's first over-ear headphones and will compete with the Bose 700, Sony WH-1000XM4, and other best noise canceling headphones.

Rumors suggest that the AirPods Studio could be priced between $399 and $599 depending on the design, but we'll have to see what happens at Apple's event.
