Prime Day computer monitor deals are amazingly necessary now, as we've all been working at home and need to find ways to extend screen space beyond the laptop. Fortunately, some of the top display manufacturers are having strong sales on their screens, and more are on the way as Prime Day enters its second day.

Computer monitors don't have the greatest track record with Prime Day sales, but we can tell you about the features you need: QHD monitors offer the best screen space for multitasking and video gaming, and the best price is for a monitor with a high resolution of up to 8.5 megapixels. These monitors can be expensive, but they are well worth it.

We only list monitors that are 1080p or higher here; if anyone tries to sell you a display that is less than FHD, tell them to leave it in the junkyard.

Want to watch a lot of Netflix? A display that supports HDR10 will give you rich color profiles that allow you to watch your favorite shows the way the creators intended.

Finally, make sure the display you buy is compatible with the ports you already use; HDMI is the current entry-level standard, but some legacy systems only support VGA (some of these computer monitors also do).
