Microsoft has confirmed that Apple TV will finally be added to the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S streaming app choices.

Xbox Wire revealed that Apple TV will be offered when the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S launch on November 10. The app will also be available for Xbox One on the same day.

On the new consoles, Netflix, Disney Plus, HBO Max, Spotify, YouTube, YouTube TV, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, NBC Peacock, Vudu, FandangoNow, Twitch, Sky Go, NOW TV, Sky Ticket, and more will continue to offer access to all the best streaming services. [Will Tuttle, editor-in-chief of Xbox Wire, said, "With the Xbox Series X and Series S, you can enjoy your favorite movies and shows with more lifelike sound and looks. [The Apple TV app streams TV shows and movies from Apple TV Plus, Apple TV Channels, and the iTunes library. It also allows users to rent or purchase content from the iTunes Store. The app is newly available on the Xbox platform and will be included on the new PS5. It is already on Apple devices, some Roku and Amazon Fire TV devices, and some Samsung, LG, and Vizio smart TVs.

In the year since its launch, Apple TV Plus has produced a number of quality programs, including "Ted Lasso" (the perfect Apple TV Plus show), "On the Rocks," "Greyhound," "Central Park," "The Morning Show," "Dickinson," and " Mythic Quest," and released quality original shows and films such as: Raven's Banquet. The streaming service also recently took a Charlie Brown special hostage.

Microsoft will also introduce a new entertainment block that "showcases the latest in movie, TV, and music content in popular entertainment apps." The company also said it has made the Microsoft Store twice as fast as before, reducing startup time to two seconds.
