Xbox Series X just landed hit game ps5 does not get

One of the most relaxing and beautiful games is coming to the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S in 2020. If you're sick of the endless discussions about Cyberpunk 2077, get ready to enjoy the best version of Microsoft Flight Simulator on the next generation Xbox.

The news was announced Thursday afternoon on the blog of Jorg Neumann, head of Microsoft Flight Simulator. And some folks can get it for free.

Neumann declared, "You can expect the Xbox Series X|S simmer to have the same level of depth as the PC version. The new Xbox version will also receive the same world updates, DLC, and upgrades as the PC version.

As noted in our Xbox Series X review, Microsoft's new console is not lacking in speed or power at all. Neumann did not specify the performance difference between the Xbox Series X and the S Series S, but the S Series S can run Microsoft Flight Simulator at 1440p resolution, and the Xbox Series X's 20 teraflops of If it takes full advantage of its graphics power, it could deliver a smooth flight simulator experience in 4K.

Nowhere in Neumann's post is the PS5 version mentioned, nor has it been rumored since the PC release. And while this may not be a traditional blockbuster AAA game with tons of action and the kind of console-exclusive game that will sell consoles, it is the kind of console-exclusive game that will make PS5 owners (who don't have a great gaming PC) wonder what they are missing out on.

Flight Simulator is not a prime candidate for a PS5 version because it is a Microsoft first-party game. However, Redmond's company seems to be more open to promoting their games on other platforms these days, so we can never say never.

As for PC games, Microsoft Flight Simulator impressed us when we played it in the summer as a way to travel when travel was impossible; Mike Andronico of Tom's Guide wrote in one post: "From afar Flying over New York or California feels like looking down on the real thing.

Of course, this visual fidelity is thanks to a pretty decent gaming setup, as he played on a desktop PC with an Intel Core i7 CPU and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti GPU.

And even more exciting, Microsoft Flight Simulator will be available via Xbox Game Pass as soon as it launches.
