The Oculus Rift S is one of the best VR headsets you can buy; unlike the Quest 2, the Oculus Rift S is PC-based and requires a PC with sufficient performance for the VR experience. (Minimum requirements are a GTX 1050 Ti/Radeon RX 470 or better, a Core i3-6100/Ryzen 3 1200 or better CPU and 8 GB RAM.)

Once set up, however, room-scale VR can be achieved without the need to place external sensors around the apartment. It also comes with an impressive touch controller that tracks movement and helps make the entire VR experience more kinetic and immersive.
