There are a lot of questions to ask as we head toward the September Apple event and the launch of the iPhone 16. Fashion-conscious people in particular will be wondering what color iPhone they are going to get when it is released. Some new leaks may have what you need to make up your mind, including some brand new color options.

This colorful info comes from two separate leaks. The first leak is a dummy plane, and the second is a report from the Chinese social network Weibo. And if these leaks are to be believed, we may be able to pick up a Bronze or Black iPhone 16 Pro Max. In fact, it's black.

Let's start with the dummy unit from leak source Sonny Dickson. There are no big surprises on the design front, and the appearance of these phones corroborates what we've seen and heard before. However, the units are presented in three separate colors: white, what appears to be natural titanium and black.

However, unlike Apple's previous attempts at colors like black, this is not a dark gray variation. This is blacker than Batman's Soul and appears to be almost colored with Vantablack. The final model may not be this black, as dummy units do not always represent the final product. But the sleek nature of these units suggests that they should not be far off from what Apple will reveal next month.

As for the bronze, we have no photographic evidence to go by - only fixed-focus digital word on Weibo. Apparently one of the iPhone 16 Pro Max colors is "particularly bronze-like," or at least that's what the translation says.

What is curious is that all previous reports called this fourth iPhone 16 Pro Max color "Rose". Details are scarce and seem contradictory, with one source claiming it will be a "titanium version of gold" and another claiming it will not be a rose gold variation as seen on older iPhone models.

A bronze-like color could potentially match the latter description. Furthermore, brushed titanium metal has already been shown to affect the way the iPhone looks in color - meaning that the rose gold equivalent now looks quite different. However, without actually seeing official renderings or actual devices, it is impossible to say for sure.

The iPhone 16 Pro is expected to come in the same color options as the Pro Max. On the other hand, the iPhone 16 is rumored to come in seven color variations. These colors are said to include black, pink, blue, yellow, and green, as seen on the iPhone 15. White and purple are also expected to appear.
