Tonight's WWE Summerslam 2024 has high expectations for multiple title defenses, heated blood feuds, a potential Money in the Bank cash-in, and the possible return of Roman Reigns.

SummerSlam 2024 at Cleveland Browns Stadium will mark the 37th edition of WWE's famed "biggest party of the summer," and boy, has it shaped up to be a huge show today. In a premium live event, Cody Rhodes will defend his WWE Undisputed Title against the Bloods' Solo Sicoa. In fact, just hours away from the big event, Reigns' cousin, Giraffatu, posted a picture of himself landing at the Cleveland airport, dropping a huge hint to confirm that Roman would be there.

Elsewhere, Damien Priest defended his World Heavyweight Title against Gunther, Priest's Judgment Day affiliate Leah Ripley challenged Women's World Champion Liv Morgan, Nia Jax reignited Bayley as WWE Women's Champion, and LA Knight was United States Champion Logan Paul against Logan Paul for the first gold medal on the WWE main roster, Bron Breaker retakes the Intercontinental Championship held by Sami Zayn, and more, WWE SummerSlam 2024 is filled with title matches.

Rounding out the card is a very hot rivalry between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre, as these two warriors finally go to war.

This year's WWE Summerslam will be packed with title matches, but the biggest story will be whether Roman Reigns will make his first appearance since Lesslmania 40. Named by Solo Sikore on WWE programming, and with Solo and his new Bloodline running rampant on Smackdown recently, it seems certain that the head-of-the-table will make his long-awaited WWE return at SummerSlam.

On the Raw side, Judgement Day's Damien Priest is looking to make his fourth premium live event defense of the world heavyweight title he won at Lessonmania 40. But it will not be easy for Priest. With the formidable presence of King of the Ring winner Gunther waiting in the wings across the ring, WWE heads to Bash in Berlin, Germany, later this month, will Ring General step into his old stomping grounds as the new world heavyweight champion?

Of course, Raw also has an interesting triangle of Rhea Ripley, Dominic Mysterio, and Liv Morgan. After Liv's return after Ripley beat her, she not only returned the favor and relegated Mami to the sidelines, but also discovered that Morgan is now the women's world champion. Dirty Dom professes his disdain for Liv Morgan, but is Mysterio really telling the truth, or does DomDom have something of a backstory?

Just as Gunther earned a shot at the World Heavyweight Title after winning King of the Ring, Nia Jax's Queen of the Ring success means she will face WWE Women's Champion Bayley at SummerSlam 2024. Making things even more interesting here is Tiffany Stratton and her Money in the Bank Briefcase. Can the Center of the Universe present herself in this match, or will she cash in her MITB briefcase on the winner - even if it is her supposed partner, Nia.

Bron Breaker, in a rematch from WWE Money in the Bank, will once again challenge Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Title. And LA Knight (YEAH.) finally managed to win a United States Title match from Logan Paul, and Logan will be making his third defense of the title since winning it at WWE Crown Jewel in November.

WWE Summerslam 2024 will feature many championship matches, but the most must-see for many fans will be the non-title matches; despite CM Punk being sidelined with an injury since the Royal Rumble in January, his rivalry with Drew McIntyre is one of WWE's most interesting, personal and exciting feud in the WWE. And now, CM Punk and Drew McIntyre have been allowed to return to the ring with Punk and the Scottish Warrior locking horns in a match refereed by the man to whom both have a history: Seth Rollins.
