OnePlus Summer Launch Event 2024: How to Watch the Nord 4, Watch 2R, and Pad 2 Announcement Live

If you're a fan of OnePlus' affordable yet powerful products, today is a big day. Later today, the company's Summer Launch Event will kick off in Milan, Italy, where OnePlus is expected to unveil at least four previously announced products, including the Nord 4 smartphone.

Want to see it on the spot rather than read all about it later, here's how to watch the OnePlus Summer Launch Event.

The OnePlus Summer Launch Event is just hours away!

The event, which will take place in Milan, Italy, will start at 3:00 PM local time. That's 6 a.m. local time, or 9 a.m. GMT.

If you are watching the event in the UK, the start time is a more sociable 2pm BST.

Thankfully, you don't have to live locally to watch. Like other major tech brands, OnePlus is live streaming the event online, so fans can watch in real time.

A YouTube video is posted below and can be viewed here.

It is also available on YouTube, the OnePlus X channel, and the OnePlus website.

As mentioned at the beginning, OnePlus has already teased four products to be unveiled. This is not unusual. While Samsung and Apple fight a losing battle with leakers before big events, OnePlus prefers to create hype for upcoming products with lots of teasers.

The main event is the OnePlus Nord 4, the company's latest line of mid-range smartphones (and indeed, we've already had a good look at this device). While metal has fallen a bit out of fashion in recent years, thanks to problems with cellular reception, the teased aluminum version certainly looks premium, and OnePlus claims that a clever redesign of the antenna makes this a non-issue on its latest phones.

Then there is the OnePlus Pad 2. Considering how great the original OnePlus Pad was, this should be exciting. The price is said to go up, but the specs are worth it: a large 12.1-inch display and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.

Next up is the OnePlus Watch 2R, a twist on the surprisingly good OnePlus Watch 2. According to leaked specs from the reliable Ishan Agarwal, it is almost the same wearable except for reduced water resistance and lighter weight, perhaps made from different materials?

Finally, there is the OnePlus Buds 3 Pro, with 49 dB of noise cancellation, a frequency range of up to 4,000 Hz, and a 12.4 mm driver.

With four products already pre-announced, it seems unlikely that there will be any surprises, but the company could still have something in store. With past tie-ins to “Pac-Man,” one cannot rule out the unexpected from OnePlus...
