Hands-on videos of the Google Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL have leaked.

It's been almost a month since the Made by Google event, and the leaks just keep on coming.

This time, Ukrainian TikToker Pixophone has managed to obtain the upcoming Google Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL. Surprisingly, both models are clearly made of different materials and look different.

The influencer released two videos (via YtechB) of what appear to be prototypes.

Oddly, the panels of the two phones are reversed: the Pixel 9 features a glossy back panel and matte sides. The 9 Pro XL, on the other hand, has a matte finish on the back and glossy side panels. I hope this is not final, as it is odd and does not look good.

We were able to see the camera array and a few things were confirmed. First, we get to see the new pill form of the camera setup.

The Pixel 9 was rumored to have a possible third camera, but this video seems to show only the main camera and what is most likely an ultra-wide lens; it may have the same 50MP and 12MP sensors as the Pixel 8.

The Pixel 9 Pro XL appears to have the same main, ultra-wide, and telephoto lenses as the Pixel 8 Pro. No camera changes are rumored, so these could be the same 50MP main, 48MP ultrawide, and 48MP 5x telephoto lenses that are currently on the 8 Pro.

The Pixel 9 is expected to have a 6.24-inch screen, while the larger Brethen should have a 6.73-inch display. The in-between Pixel 9 Pro is rumored to have a 6.34-inch display for comparison.

When Google unveils its next generation of Pixel devices at its August event, the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL should be joined by the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. And there should also be a Pixel Watch 3.
