Strands fans. Today's puzzle was a heady one. It requires a bit of lateral thinking, as you need to look for similar sounding words, rather than looking for a name.

In fact, my first answer was pure coincidence as I was looking around for possible words. I stumbled upon MERRY in the upper right corner, which was marked as the correct answer and the first clue. From there, I noticed PEAT to the left of it and I ran off.

I needed to get the HAIRY and GALE on the right to open the way to the HOMOPHONES spangram, but all I had to do was fill in the gaps.

Appropriately, FILL was the next thing I got to fill the gap I left open at Spangram. WHINNY was the next thing I found, hidden under the PEAT. I unwrapped the RUSTLE, leaving only the ATOM (which I assume was Adam).

It was fun! Hopefully tomorrow will be the same kind of training.
