OnePlus Event to be held on July 19, featuring OnePlus Nord 4, OnePlus Pad 2, Watch 2R, and more

Like almost every major tech company, OnePlus is gearing up for its next big event this summer. Unlike other companies, however, OnePlus has decided to go ahead and reveal the names of all the devices it plans to unveil. This allows the company to stay ahead of the leakers, who will almost certainly reveal everything before the July 19 event.

Indeed, the news from OnePlus comes just hours after images of the OnePlus Nord 4 were leaked, ruining the company's plans to surprise us with its latest budget smartphone.

OnePlus announced that the OnePlus Pad 2, OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro, OnePlus Watch 2R, and OnePlus Nord 4 smartphones will all be revealed. These are some big ticket items for the company's mid-range line; the OnePlus Pad 2 is a bit more high-end.

OnePlus describes the Pad 2 as its "new flagship productivity tablet." Based on our experience with the original OnePlus Pad, which we called "the new standard in Android tablets," that's true.

The OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro is described as "the pinnacle of mid-range ANC earphones. Midrange and ANC do not always go together, and it will be interesting to see what the company does with its latest Nord Buds, as this feature is often limited to high-end headphones.

The OnePlus Watch 2R is said to be a "lightweight Wear OS smartwatch." However, the OnePlus Watch 2R has already been heavily leaked, so we can judge what it will offer; as is typically the case with OnePlus products, the R means it will be more affordable, making it a good option for those who don't want to spend much on a smartwatch It should be.

Finally, OnePlus announced that it will showcase the OnePlus Nord 4 smartphone." It is described as "the only all-metal unibody smartphone for the 5G era. Sounds pretty exciting, but before the hype gets too big, we want to see what the specs are and at what price.

Thankfully, we won't have to wait long to learn more about these new OnePlus devices, as a global event on July 19 is just around the corner. The event will take place in Milan, Italy and will be broadcast live on the OnePlus YouTube channel.
