"Yellowstone" returns to the final season on May 11 this year — what you need to know

The wait for more episodes of "Yellowstone" is almost over. In a short teaser, Paramount Network has announced that the final episode of the drama created by Taylor Sheridan will air on 11/10 at 8pm ET/7pm CT.

Technically, the last handful of episodes made up Part 5 of "Yellowstone" season 2, the first half of which ended in 2023/1/1. However, due to the long wait, there is little tendency to see the upcoming episode as a whole new season.

The show returns without a lead Kevin Costner, who set foot to film his latest epic "Horizon" amid rumors of a protracted dispute with Sheridan. May 4, Costner said he "wants to go back to Yellowstone", "but there is no indication that he has actually appeared, despite the Cliffhanger the first half of the season

is currently in production, and the last 6 episodes have also been produced by the American Writers Guild and the SAG-AFTRA strike that began last summer." Partially delayed. The second half of "Yellowstone" season 5 was supposed to premiere in 2023-11.

Even the final episode of Season 5 does not mean the end of "Yellowstone.""The Paramount Network already has two prequel spinoffs, "1833" and "1923", which run on Paramount Plus 2.

Paramount is also working on other spin-offs starting with "1944," which are currently being filmed and could serve as a sequel to "1923."

The other show is a sequel called "2024" and rumored to be starring Matthew McConaughey and Michelle Pfeiffer. Beth, Lip and Casey, the current characters played by Kelly Riley, Cole Hauser and Luke Grimes respectively, will also reportedly appear in "2024," but there are rumors that the trio have their own pay-demand tensions.

"Four Sixes or6666" is yet another series of works that is also a sequel to "Yellowstone" and is about Four Sixes Ranch, a real place in Texas. This show takes place on the current day and represents how to move away from Dutton Ranch.

The details, however, are scant on it, and it may not be closer to production than some rumors we've heard so far.
