Computex2024 isn't here yet, but Acer has already started things with a lot of announcements. The company's new Wave7 router has attracted a lot of attention because it promises to provide an excellent combination of the fastest possible Wi-Fi7 speed and high range. The company also announced speedy's new Predator Connect W6X gaming router with wi-Fi.

Acer Mesh7 is definitely the most exciting new router because it uses the latest Wi-Fi7 technology. It supports traditional 6ghz 2.4 and 5ghz options, with optional 6ghz versions available.

Other notable features include Hybrid Quality of Service (QoS) software and the Intel Killer Prioritization Engine.This ensures that the device that needs the most bandwidth gets the bandwidth. Acer says its Mesh7 router can deliver speeds of up to 6400Mbps with excellent reliability and low latency. It also features 3 gigabit Ethernet ports with switchable WAN/LAN capabilities for flexible network configuration. 

"We are excited to expand our wireless router offering with new options that cater to a wide range of gamers, families and home-based professionals," said Wayne Ma, Acer Inc.General Manager of Connectivity.

The Acer Wave7 is expected to launch in North America in Q2. Acer did not announce prices for the region, but said it would be released in EMEA on March 7 from €119 (1 pack), €199 (2 pack) and €299 (3 pack). As it is a web router, you can purchase different quantities depending on the size of your space.

The Predator Connect W6X may not have Wi-Fi7, but it has many speed and performance features designed for gamers. It offers speeds of up to 6000Mbps, but this is not far from the Wi-Fi7 model.

With a powerful quad-core processor, 1GB of DDR4RAM, and 256MB of ROM, there are specifications that provide enough performance. Acer says it prioritizes nearly zero packet loss for uninterrupted gameplay. It supports a new Predator Connect utility app that allows gamers to control the network from anywhere. 

ports have 4 gigabit Ethernet ports for LAN connectivity and 1 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port for WAN connectivity. 

The gaming Router will be launched in North America in Q7 and EMEA for the 2nd month, with prices starting at 129 euros.
