According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple may be ready to release AirTag2 by mid-2025. Gurman says the new version is codenamed B589 and that Apple is already conducting test runs with its manufacturing partners in Asia. Perhaps it is to make sure that the production process is running as intended and to further minimize the possibility of delays and other problems.
