Nvidia has hit new highs recently. It all came to Milhouse after the GPU maker pivoted to fully deploying AI last year.  Just this week, Nvidia's share price rose 9 percent, bringing the company more than22000 billion in value. 

And it seems that everyone is asking to work with Nvidia. According to recent rumors, MediaTek has partnered with Nvidia to create chips for AI laptops and is bidding to compete with Qualcomm as AI PCs begin to enter the market later this summer. The two companies are also rumored to be working on some kind of handheld game.

In an interview with bloomberg at the Dell World Conference in Las Vegas, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and Dell Chairman/CEO Michael Dell suggested that the two companies would probably enter the AI PC market together. 

From the interview:

Ed Ludlow (Bloomberg): Jensen Where is NVIDIA's location on AI PC? I know you as a game, again I grew up on NVIDIA's gaming side, do you have a place in the AI PC market?

Michael Dell (Dell): Come back next year.

Jensen Huang (NVIDIA): That's right. 

Huang explained that the Gpu is using the same Tensor core that is running on the H100 accelerator. He said that Nvidia Gpus are already using AI, suggesting that Nvidia is already entering the AI PC market.

The vague answer can be interpreted as Nvidia's ongoing plans to address the Windows-ON-ARM AI PC market. As it stands, Qualcomm has a market where Microsoft is leaning toward Qualcomm's Snapdragon Elite X chipset for their surface tablets.

If Dell and Nvidia are partnering something for an AI Pc, it makes sense not to see anything until next year. Even the rumored partnership between MediaTek and Nvidia will have the earliest release of the chip in the second half of 2024 at best. Those from both companies are not expected to be released until early 2025.

In a previous interview, Dell has confirmed that his Pc will be an AI Pc in the future. Huang and Dell have also confirmed that they are working on what they call an AI factory with new edges, workstations, services and solutions to help commercial companies quickly deploy AI into their workflows.
