hi chain. What a clever little puzzle! Even though I cottoned on the theme pretty quickly, the theme was "Sounds delicious!""I kept guessing until the end because I bothered my brain for possible answers to match.

The key word for that theme, of course, is "sound" - because these are words that actually sound like food, not food. And I was very lucky to have found a stake soon to put me on the right track.

Even with this knowledge, it was a bit tricky. I thought I'd meet meat/next and officially discovered meeting in the upper right corner, but it still kept most of the board open. I also didn't do much to get the time (time) at the bottom left.

I decided to try to split more boards by thinking spangram. After racking my brain a bit, I remembered the word I was looking for: homophones. This helped a lot and broke the board in half by meandering from top to bottom.

It led me to find both a pair (pear) next to 'H' and a mousse (mousse) next to 'S'. It meant that there was only a leak (leek) left on this side of the board.

On the right there were two words left to find, both of them 6 characters long. I got the chilly (chili) first, and it left only the cereal (cereal) to get.
