It is officially the beginning of summer. Time for a well-deserved vacation Now, they spend time with the kids that they are out of school and chasing on all the new Netflix shows and movies currently streaming

First, there's "Eric" starring Benedict Cumberbatch as the puppeteer and children's show host Vincent whose son goes missing. He is swirling precariously as he quickly becomes convinced that his puppet Eric can help save his son. 

Also a new addition on Netflix this week is Zara Larsson's vehicle "A Part of You," which follows 10-year-old Agnes, who envies her popular older sister Julia. She was forced to reevaluate her social status after the tragedy and put herself in the spotlight as she gazed at how her choice changed her life.

But in the future, when athletes rely on bionic augments to support their performance in the sport, the sisters' once-friendly competition turns into something more disturbing as they consider themselves the best. This Brazilian cyberpunk-inspired thrill ride takes a suspenseful look at what you need to be the best and whether you have it or not.

How far will you go to get fame? This 3-part documentary series explores the question from the perspective of a TikTok dancer who joins a cult-like management company that forces family and friends to turn their backs. Also, the 7M management company, which is a church, is clearly more sinister, as it appears to be falling into more clutches every day, despite a girl named Miranda and a slew of other dancers claiming to be "okay" under the guidance of pastor Robert Singh.

After his son Edgar goes missing after going to school, Vincent slowly becomes paranoid and unstable when he begins to believe that this 7-foot-tall doll Eric can help him find Edgar. This 80s thriller explores Vincent and how the line between reality and fiction begins to quickly blur as his mental state drops rapidly after losing Edgar.
