Dyson Launches First Wet Floor Cleaner - First Impressions of Washlet

Following the launch of the latest wet and dry vacuum, Dyson announced its first dedicated wet floor cleaner. The Wash G1 is designed to remove wet and dry debris at the same time, but it is a stand for your vacuum.

The Wash G1 features two individually powered reverse rotating rollers, separating dirty and clean water in two separate tanks, and a debris tray for easy disposal of dry debris.

I have tested several wet floor cleaners in my time reviewing the best vacuum cleaners, and I always have my hands to pick up dry debris before I usually break my wet floor cleaner to get rid of dry dirt and splashes to make the most of them they emit a little short in the suction department. I was a bit skeptical to see how it holds when Dyson told me their new Wash G1 wet floor Cleaner could tackle wet and dry debris at once, because I've been running my vacuum around hard floors.

The exact date has not yet been announced, but we know that the Wash G1 will be available for purchase later this year. Prior to our full review, I tested it in Dyson's London showroom. Here is my first impression.

As someone who has used a wet floor cleaner before, the immediate cons that come to mind for these products are the fussy process of cleaning dirty water tanks, wet crumbs and hairs that harden on the cleaning head, and the fact that I break my mop and I can't quite reach with a wet floor cleaner. This includes a limited range of roller brushes so that you want to get into a small corner that you could not get into. Dyson is aware of all of these shortcomings to its credit and to its specifications.

Dyson Wash G1 Specification

"Most of us vacuum our homes regularly. But while wet cleaning is considered a necessary chore worldwide, many of us know why we do it beyond the vague notion of hygiene, in fact, washing with water is essential to hydrating and removing dry, hardy stains," said Dr. John D. Smith, Vice President of Dyson Home Engineering at Dyson. Charlie Park said.

Most of us have hard floors in our homes, but unless your home is completely carpet-free, Dyson Wash G1 will probably be your kitchen tile if you, like me, break a steam cleaner every month or so for proper deep cleaning of your laminates and tiles.

When I tested the Wash G1 in Dyson's showroom, they made me throw grains, squirt ketchup, and pour coffee across the wooden floor. In a nod to my own kitchen, they went to an effort to pre-dry the coffee stains on the floor.

It can handle dry debris

Certainly a little clunky, it grinds a handful of cheerios while working on spills and shards them into a shard tray In places with lots of shards and footprints, such as a busy kitchen, it needs to clean up larger shards so as not to fill up the tray. There may be. It has a fairly small capacity.

The water dried quickly

If you have a wooden floorboard, it is unthinkable to leave it wet because it can warp or discolor. The washing G1, as expected, left some wet patches, but these dry very quickly and do not cause confusion in busy corridors.

Dry stains took some scrubbing

It took some path to get those dry coffee stains. This is because it needs to be rehydrated before rinsing, so it will not work with 1 pass. But the reverse rotation roller almost created a feeling like the wash G1 had surfaced, so I didn't mind spending a little longer on the troublesome area.

It couldn't be easy to empty

It's the kind of thing you don't consider when a product is squeaky clean in a showroom, but if you require a cleaning compartment to scrub good to clean, you can clean your wet compartment. You stare at the filthy dirty water tank when the floor cleaner is at the base. I really liked that Dyson created a water tank that could be cleaned super easily — a hard-to-reach angle and tight

where dirt can accumulate On the first impression, this is a wet floor cleaner I can get behind. You won't catch me throwing my current vacuum. I still need its versatility to work on my stairs and pick up dust from my carpet. Dyson also recently entered its Dyson V15S Detect Submarine, which includes a mop head attachment along with the usual attachments you'd get from Dyson, directly into the review with these 2 options.
