This romantic drama series is trending in prime video and viewers are in love with it

The romance genre is now gaining a lot of attention with 1 of the best streaming services. Prime Video recently released the original romance drama "The Idea of You", which became a surprise hit on the platform. This passionate drama starring Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitsyn gives viewers an adrenaline rush that remains throughout the film. Now another streaming success is in the limelight.

"Maxton Hall—The World Between Us" has been crawling up the trending list since it came out a week ago, sitting just below "Fallout." This romantic drama series provides you with everything you need while looking at the flowers of a relationship - happiness, sadness, expectation. Of course, it has the typical 10s flirting and tension, but it goes much deeper than that.

If you're in the mood for some cheesy romance, Prime Video's "Maxton Hall" is a good choice. It will help you decide if you need to stream this trending series today.

"Maxton Hall—The World Between Us" is a romantic drama series that follows Ruby Bell (Harriet Herbig-Matten) when she accidentally hears a huge secret in public school Maxton Hall. Because of this, a dispute arises between her and the most powerful man at school, James Beaufort (Damien Hard), who decides not to come out into the world with his sister's secret, Ruby needs to navigate the hardships of getting through school while dealing with powerful people trying to stop her from reaching her dreams.

This series provides a whirlwind of emotions that will make you click "Next episode" until it supplies power throughout the season. As you can expect, most of those emotions revolve around the slow-burning romance, tension, and captivating stories that draw you in.

All 6 episodes are available on Prime Video, each about 40-50 minutes long. "Maxton Hall" is actually a German show, but it has English subtitles and dubbed versions.

Viewers fell in love with the show, but critics have not replicated those feelings. "Maxton Hall" currently has a 60% score on Rotten Tomatoes, but the audience score is very high at 94%. It seems as if viewers enjoyed the simplicity and engagement it offers rather than taking it too seriously.

However, some critics were kind to this new series. Kristen Baldwin of Entertainment Weekly said, "Maxton Hall The World-Between Us follows YA's enemy-to-lover blueprint in the letter, and its soothing familiarity is its greatest strength. Meanwhile, Lisa Nystrom of Filmink said, "The leads bounce off each other well, and there are only 6 short episodes in the season, so you can trust that the turnaround between the bully and the potential boyfriend isn't as endless as you might feel at first.

On the other hand, some critics did not feel the same spark. David Opie of the Radio Times wrote: "Between Maxton Hall and the other 10th generation shows, there's a world it's trying to emulate - Gossip Girl, Élite, and, yes, even the reboot of Gossip Girl.

Aside from the odd negative reviews, the audience was very happy with the series. General comments include: "Beautiful Stories and cinematography", "First-class chemistry", "The series beautifully captures the story of true love."

"Maxton Hall — The World Between Us" is definitely worth watching if you enjoy a good romantic drama. The story is simple but fascinating, allowing viewers to fully engage with the character as they navigate the new tension. The length of the series is also short, so you can easily binge watch all 1 episode on 6 weekends, if you want.

It's important to get into this series knowing that it could be a crappy stereotype. That way, you won't be surprised when the cliché romance tropes consume your screen. Aside from the odd klingy scenes, it's perfect for those who want to immerse themselves in a thrilling and tense romance.
