ElevenLabs will do it again - turn Google Veo clips into music videos using its own AI music generator

With Google's DeepMind using Project Astra earlier this week to summarize the OpenAI event and Synthesia turning its face to ChatGPT-4o, AI companies are again crossing the stream.

This time, it's ElevenLabs, an AI music generator that itself uses Google's Veo engine to build new songs using videos built from AI.

"I loved what I saw in the Veo on Google I/O, so I turned it into a music video using AI-generated sound effects and music," the Elevenlabs account posted on X.

The dark and sassy atmosphere of the audio comes directly from the neon-drenched video of the Veo, which may "sing what you see" about the whole thing.

ElevenLabs sings over the notes "Neon towers in the sky, brightly shining colors", but interestingly, it drifts to the ground. Call the car a "flying car" when it looks like it's on the market, but is that an AI-based artistic license?

Still, it's definitely impressive, and the tempo towards the end of the video as the aforementioned car moves through a tunnel of light into real-world Hong Kong

Overall, this is another good example of how different AI tools come together to create something unexpected.1 Elevenlabs added audio to the first Sora video released by OpenAI, where the company is showing off its newly discovered musical skills.
