The battery size of the iPhone 16 series seems to have been revealed by leaker Baby Baby Sauce on Weibo. And as they have, all new iPhones will get more battery capacity, except one model.

The standard iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max batteries will have 2% to 6% more battery capacity than the iPhone 15. However, the iPhone 16 Plus with its 4,006 mAh battery will have less capacity than the iPhone 15 Plus with its 4,383 mAh battery.

Baby Baby Sauce's figures follow previous rumors regarding the iPhone 16 battery, with the iPhone 16 Pro missing figures, but otherwise featuring the same numbers. This could mean that the two leaks are using the same source, which hopefully suggests that the rumored information is reliable.

Battery size and battery life are very important parts of a phone, so it is great news that three of the four new iPhones will have larger batteries. However, the iPhone 15 Plus lasted the longest of all the iPhones tested in the TG lab, so we expect the iPhone 16 Plus to have similar results, even if the battery is smaller, due to efficiency improvements in other areas of the design.

Both Pro models are said to have a larger battery size and are believed to have a new, hopefully more efficient A18 Pro chipset, but due to another rumored update, namely a larger display, battery life After four generations of 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch iPhone Pro models, the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max could expand to 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch, respectively, which would mean more battery-powered displays.
