It is unclear when the C855 will be available and at what price point, but it certainly has the potential to bring some heavyweight competition to the growing mini LED market and give Hisense a shot in the arm.

As for brightness, the C855 also supports HDR10+ Adaptive, which allows the TV to automatically adjust its brightness according to ambient brightness.
