IKEA is known for its affordable assembled furniture, but the company also offers smart lights, chargers, and other electronic devices. Now, IKEA has released a USB fast charger at a price that other companies cannot compete with.

Sjöss, a name that covers both single and double ports, starts at a rather reasonable $7.99 for a 30W USB-C charger.

IKEA does not release chargers with a single fast-charging specification. Instead, both Shes models support Power Delivery (PD 3.0), Quick Charge (QC4+), and Programmable Power Supply (PPS) for all types of devices.

The single-port Sjöss supports a charging speed of 30W, while the model with two USB-C ports supports a charging speed of 45W when using only one port and 22W on each port when charging two devices simultaneously.

Anker, one of the best in affordable chargers, is not far behind Ikea in this regard; Anker's cheapest fast charger costs $14 and is only 20 W. If you want a 30 W Anker charger, you'll need $20. Aukey, another affordable charger maker, has a USB-C charger with PD support for $18. Even with Amazon Basics, a USB-C PD-enabled charger costs $14.

Ikea's chargers come with a sticker indicating that it is your charger. This would be helpful if a roommate or family member is using the same charger. The box includes green, orange, and blue stickers. It's not a game-changing bundle, but it's a nice bonus to not have to worry about which charger is yours (that is, if you remember which color sticker to use).

The furniture giant also offers affordable USB-C cables that come with its chargers. Lil Hürth's USB-C to USB-C cable is $7.99, so if you don't have enough USB cables hanging around the house yet, it might not be a bad idea to get one of these; there is also a Lighting cable, but this one is a bit more expensive at $12.99.
