Emma Stone was destined for stardom ever since her first appearance in Superbad. Stone, then 19 years old, burst off the screen with natural charisma and likeability. Now, the 35-year-old actress has the perfect combination of talent, looks, versatility, and charm. But Stone's greatest strength is relatability. It's easy to root for someone as likable as Stone.

After "Superbad," Stone had several supporting roles before a career turning point, starring in 2010's "Easy A." For the next 13 years, Stone joined the superhero franchise, playing the Oscar-winning and infamous Cruella de Vil. Speaking of the Oscars, Stone will attend the 2024 ceremony for "Poor Things," where he will try to win the award as an actor and producer. Stone still has a long career ahead of her. For now, let's revisit Emma Stone's seven best movies.

In "Zombieland," the zombie apocalypse unfolds in a fun and comedic way. Thanks to an outbreak of mad cow disease, many Americans have become zombies. One of the survivors, Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg), is a cautious man and follows a strict zombie survival checklist to stay alive.

While searching for his parents, Columbus meets Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson), an outlaw who offers to drive Columbus to Ohio. On their way through the United States, they meet sisters Wichita (Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin), who convince them to go to an amusement park in Los Angeles that is supposedly zombie-free. Going to an amusement park is dangerous. But in a zombie apocalypse, they have nothing to lose. Stone makes the most of his supporting cast, bringing humor and wit to the brash and insensitive Wichita.

Stone's first film role in Superbad is a delight. It was the perfect debut for Stone, who has quickly risen to stardom by displaying the friendliness, charm, and girl-next-door persona that has made her a force to be reckoned with. This hilarious coming-of-age comedy stars Michael Cera and Jonah Hill as best friends Evan and Seth. The two are at the bottom of the food chain in the school's social hierarchy. Their luck changes when Jules (Stone), Seth's unrequited love, invites them to a party. The boys make plans to buy liquor for the party so that Seth can lose his virginity to Jules and Evan can hook up with Becca (Martha MacIsaac).

With the help of their friend Vogel (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) and his new fake ID, Seth and Evan try to get the liquor, but a chance encounter with a cop leads to a wild night of debauchery. Despite the lewdness, "Superbad" is an authentic film about friendship and perfectly captures the anxious feelings many people experience before starting college.

"The Favourite" was a pivotal moment in Stone's career. It was Stone's first collaboration with director Yorgos Lanthimos, a partnership that continued with 2023's Poor Things and the upcoming Kinds of Kindness. The Favourite also led to Stone's third Oscar nomination."

In 18th century England, Queen Anne (Olivia Colman) was on the throne but had no intention of running the country while at war with France. Instead, Lady Sarah (Rachel Weisz), Queen Anne's secret lover, runs the day-to-day operations and governs the country. Then Sarah's cousin Abigail (Emma Stone) comes to work for the queen. Sarah teaches Abigail the ropes of politics. However, Abigail gets closer to Queen Anne, and a rift develops between the two cousins. Despite being a film about political gamesmanship, trickery, and deception, The Favourite is a laugh-out-loud comedy, thanks to a witty script and hilarious performances by the three leading ladies.

In 2011, a rom-com on a medium budget could be released and make a profit. What a time to be alive. One of those romantic comedies is "Crazy, Stupid, Love," an ensemble piece centered on a man coming to terms with divorce. Cal Weaver's (Steve Carell) life takes a turn when his wife Emily (Julianne Moore) asks him to leave her after an affair with a co-worker. In order to cope, Cal, who is directionless, starts going to local bars and complaining to the women about his wife.

Cal's desperation catches the attention of womanizer Jacob Palmer (Ryan Gosling). As Cal successfully pursues other women, Jacob slowly realizes that he only wants to win the heart of one woman, Hannah (Emma Stone). The chemistry between Gosling and Stone is so great that audiences will wish for the duo to work together in more romantic comedies, and more than 13 years later, "Crazy, Stupid, Love" is as heartfelt as ever. However, I still dislike David Lindhagen.

Rumors of Olive's sexual intercourse quickly spread throughout the high school.

Instead of denying the gossip, Olive embraces her newfound popularity, even going so far as to sew the letter "A" on her clothes. After the lies negatively affect her life, Olive must confess the truth and figure out a way to protect her reputation. A Pocketful of Sunshine will never be heard the same way again.

Bella is an adult woman, but acts like a child because Dr. Baxter gave her an infant brain. During her time in this world, Bella becomes sexually and intellectually awakened and forges her own path.
