As the most expensive model added to the lineup, the $1,999 KC92 (pictured above) tops the bill It is the most interesting new subwoofer model in the new lineup, claiming power capabilities and precision that would make it an explosive addition when paired with any of the best soundbars

The KC92 is a larger 9-inch version of the smaller KC62 (with twin 6-inch drivers) that uses the same back-to-back force-canceling driver arrangement; the KC92 has 1,000 watts of output power (500 watts for each 9-inch driver) and a dedicated Class D amplifiers), providing immense power and control for a sudden burst of low frequency when needed It also features KEF's patent-pending P-Flex surround driver, which is said to move the dual drivers more precisely The optimized driver excursion characteristics are said to bring the frequency range down to 11 Hz [The KC92 has both line-level and speaker-level inputs to connect to the best AV receivers and hi-fi amplifiers, and by utilizing KEF's SmartConnect, output performance can be automatically optimized to integrate with other speakers in your setup There is a line output with a high-pass filter (HPF) to fine-tune the sub for integration with other speakers in the setup 5 room modes allow the KC92 to be integrated into free space, wall, corner, cabinet, or apartment placement options

The new Kube MIE has three installation modes, "free standing," "wall/cabinet," and "corner," to blend into any room With line-level and speaker-level inputs, it doesn't matter what amplifier you connect it to; KEF's SmartConnect technology automatically determines whether the input signal is mono or stereo and optimizes the gain for best performance
