Sofia Vergara gives us a glimpse of her LA mansion - this is exactly what impressed us the most!

Sofia Vergara is making headlines right now, not only for her role as a notorious drug lord in the popular Netflix show "Griselda," but also for her home.

The actress recently opened the doors of her mansion and gave us a tour of her Beverly Hills home for the cover story of Architectural Digest. In the interview, she describes the process of working with designer O'Hara Davis-Gaetano to renovate her home and bring her "homey and comfortable" vision to life.

The $26 million Tuscan-style property sits on two acres and consists of 17,000 square feet. It also comes with six bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a two-story guest house, a home cinema, and a poolside cabana. Basically, it has everything you need in a 5-star luxury Hollywood home.

A selection of images taken from the AD are posted on Sofia's Instagram account with the caption: gracias @archdigest ❤️. These include photos of her Grecian lounge, plush furnishings, lavish marble kitchen, stunning swimming pool, and of course, a huge walk-in closet. Indeed, this grand design reflects the trendy "mob-wife aesthetic," incorporating bold luxury and "maximalist" style.

We asked our interior design experts to share their thoughts on the Hollywood star's impressive estate and how to get that look in your own home.

"Every inch of Sofia Vergara's home whispers a story of elegance, warmth, and vibrant spirit, as seen in the harmonious blend of luxurious textures, bold colors, and intricate patterns," says Sam Graig, senior designer at Swoon. From plush velvet sofas to ornate chandeliers, each piece reflects her eclectic taste and unwavering personality."

Another standout element is the use of statement pieces. In Sofia Vergara's home, "each room has a statement piece of furniture that serves as a focal point," says Camilla Lesser, interior design expert at Essential Living. Statement pieces like the long table on the patio and the glamorous chandelier in the bathroom add character and flair to the space. Modern furniture is juxtaposed with vintage accents, creating depth and dimension throughout."

Johanna Constantinou, Tapi's trend expert, also notes, "Her interior style is similar to Gloria from Modern Family, the trendy Griselda The aesthetic of a mafia wife, for example, reflects Sofia's personal appeal. Luxurious materials are an important element of Art Deco interiors, and materials like her marble tables and lacquered wooden garden furniture make even the simplest of spaces look glamorous."[14

In addition to creating a Hollywood aesthetic, there are many important design elements that successfully combine luxurious style with warmth and coziness.

"A key element that makes her chosen look work is the personality of the focal items. In her hallway, the intricate finishes on the table create a rustic look alongside the distinctive rug, tapestry art, and off-marble tile. The rustic interior has an organic color palette that echoes the hues found in nature," says Constantinou. [The] metallic elements of gold, silver, and brass found in decorative accents such as chair rests, mirrors, faucets, lighting, and kitchen cabinet handles are also attractive." In the living room, a selection of coffee table books reflects her personality, while a mix of art, photography, travel, and fashion are forms of self-expression that make up her overall sophisticated look. The wide variety of plants offer a range of colors, textures, and shapes, adding depth and visual appeal to the design of each room."

Another striking room is the marble kitchen, which oozes luxury. Darren Watts, Director of Showroom Development and Design at Wren Kitchens, agrees, "Sophia's choice of marble worktops and gray stone backsplash add an extra touch of luxe and show her commitment to quality materials." While her overall kitchen style leans toward traditional design, the incorporation of brass hardware and lighting adds character, giving it that contemporary touch and a dash of color."

If you're looking to upgrade your home (even if you don't have an A-list star budget), it's possible to achieve and replicate Sofia's signature style in your own residence.

"It's important to look for affordable alternatives that capture the essence of luxury and comfort," suggests Greig. Incorporating rich textures like faux fur throws and velvet accent pillows can add depth and luxury to a space.

Choosing unique decorative pieces like vintage-style mirrors or eclectic sculptures adds visual interest and tells its own story. Mix and match different styles and eras to create your own unique, curated, yet diverse look."

And if you're looking to refresh your kitchen style without completely renovating, there are a few simple things you can do to refine it. "Whether you use hardwood, tile, or luxury vinyl, these classic patterns add a touch of elegance and architectural interest to the space," Constantinou says. "Consider marble contact paper or paste tiles, which can completely revolutionize your kitchen and are great for renters, and can be turned off again every time you move out."

"You can also be more deliberate with the furniture you buy to save money at the same time--for example buy enough seating for yourself and regular guests instead of opting for lots of potential seating options, buying either a coffee table or a side table instead of both."

"If you are looking for a place to rent, you can buy a coffee table or a side table instead of a table, and then buy enough seating for yourself and regular guests instead of a coffee table or a side table.

Watts also adds: "Sophia's kitchen oozes luxury, but its simple design makes it easy to incorporate on a budget. To mimic her stone backsplash, use tek walls, a modern alternative that effectively mimics tile, but without the budget. For a contemporary feel, polished brass is relatively inexpensive, and if new hardware is out of your budget, incorporating brass-colored soft furnishings will achieve the same overall effect."

In other words, you don't have to live in a Beverly Hills mansion to add a touch of Hollywood glamour and "Griselda style" to your home.
