LG's OLED TVs have always been the best TVs. In fact, the C2 and G2 OLEDs are in the top four of our Best TVs list. And now the next generation has officially arrived.

Today, LG announced its full lineup of LG G3 "Gallery Edition" OLED TVs and LG C3 OLED TVs in a press release. These TVs will be available for pre-order on LG's website beginning March 6, and will begin shipping later this month. They will also be available at other retailers in late March. These new LG OLED TV lineup and prices have been revealed officially, but this is not the first time we are seeing these models; LG announced both models at CES 2023 and revealed that they are expected to be upgraded from the previous generation. With this processor, the new TVs will offer improved upscaling and dynamic tone mapping, as well as impressive virtual 9.1.2 surround sound.

The LG G3 OLED TV, which LG calls the "Gallery Edition," remains LG's gold standard. We experienced the G3 OLED at CES 2023 and were definitely impressed. The video has never been brighter. In fact, according to LG, the combination of a new processor and "Brightness Booster Max Technology" makes the G3 70% brighter.

The LG C3 OLED TV is not a major upgrade over the LG C2 OLED TV or the LG C1 OLED TV, but it will still be a great TV, and early hands-on testing of the C3 OLED showed that the new Alpha 9 Gen 6 processor and We liked the performance boost from the new WebOS 23 smart TV platform. However, if you already have a C2 OLED or C1 OLED, I don't know if you need to upgrade.

Still, for a premium OLED TV, the LG C3 OLED TVs remain affordable. The cheapest model starts at $1,399 for a 42-inch, and you can get a 55-inch TV for under $2,000; an 83-inch C3 OLED will set you back $5,299, which can be extravagant but still relatively cheap for an OLED TV.
