March is not known for its laptop deals, but we found the most innovative laptop sale we've tested recently.

Today only, Newegg is offering the Asus ZenBook Duo UX481 for $899.99. That's a $400 discount and the lowest price we've ever seen for this laptop. Even better, it comes with a free Asus Note sleeve case ($19 value).

What makes the Asus ZenBook Duo UX481 a unique laptop is the second 12.6-inch touchscreen (dubbed ScreenPad Plus). This screen complements the 14-inch 1080p touchscreen; the ScreenPad Plus provides quick access to apps where you need to check tabs. It's also ideal if you don't have room for a secondary monitor.

The ScreenPad Plus takes up wrist rest space on the laptop, but if you have your own wrist rest pad, you won't feel the difference. On the other hand, our review of the Asus ZenBook Duo 14 found its performance and durability to be on par with the best machines. In fact, the ZenBook Duo UX481 was featured in our Best Laptops Guide. The reason for this is its solid spec sheet, which includes a Core i7-10510U CPU, 8GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD.

Some may be concerned that the ScreenPad Plus will shorten battery life, but in our tests it lasted 10 hours and 37 minutes, not far behind the XPS 13's battery life (11:07). With the secondary screen off, the laptop lasted until 14:11.

The list price is expensive at $1,299.99, but Newegg currently has it for $899.99, the lowest price we could find for this excellent machine.
