Months after its announcement at last year's Game Awards: the PS5 version of The Final Cut finally has a release date.

The enhanced PC version of the original will be available on PS5 on March 30, and at the same time on PS4, PC, Stadia, and iOS. Unfortunately, Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch players will have to wait a little longer, as the release on these platforms is not scheduled until the summer.

For those who don't know, Disco Elysium is a role-playing game in which you control an amnesiac detective trying to solve a murder while facing his inner demons. The original game received critical acclaim upon its release and is rightfully ranked among the best PC games available today.

Dubbed Final Cut, this upgraded version includes many changes compared to the original version released on PC in 2019. New quests, characters, and locations have been added, as well as quality-of-life improvements. Most important of all, full voice has been added to each piece of dialogue (and the amount of dialogue).

The game also takes advantage of the power of the PS5, running at 4K and 60 fps. It is hoped that the distinctive art style of "Disco Elysium" will truly shine in this next-generation console version.
