We may finally know when "Halo Infinite" is coming to the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and PC, thanks to a comment from one of the performers.

Verlon Roberts recently appeared on the Fadam and Friends podcast and seemed to confirm that Halo Infinite will be coming this November. The exact date is unknown, but it is a bit more specific than the "fall 2021" we got from 343 Industries.

Halo Infinite was supposed to be an Xbox Series X launch title and was originally scheduled to appear with the console last November. However, due to a series of delays, this did not happen; Halo Infinite reportedly underwent a number of changes, from the storyline to major graphical improvements, after a less than stellar showcase last July.

According to Joseph Staten, creative director of "Halo Infinite" and longtime voice of Covenant Glantz, the delay was simply because the studio needed more time to "get things right." That can only be a good thing, especially after the rather lackluster "Halo 5" campaign.

But it wasn't just the month of release that Roberts revealed. He also confirmed that he will be playing Spartan Griffin in the game. Griffin was previously mentioned in the novel Shadows of Reach, but nothing else was revealed, except that he was a member of UNSC Infinity's Fireteam Taurus.

Roberts also revealed nothing other than the fact that he did motion capture and shared scenes with the actor playing Master Chief. In other words, it seems certain that the game will feature Spartan super-soldiers other than Master Chief and that the franchise's main hero will interact with them, despite what the E3 2019 trailer might have led us to believe.

It is unclear if Infinite itself will appear in the game, as the trailer states that Infinite itself has been destroyed.

A November release should not be a big surprise, as Halo games have historically been released in that month. The only question is on which specific date the game will appear.

It is likely to be November 15. This date would mark the 20th anniversary of the Halo franchise, which began with the release of Halo: Combat Evolved (and the original Xbox) on November 20, 2001. It would be unlike 343i to ignore such a major milestone, and it would be a wasted opportunity to release "Halo Infinite" on an entirely different date.

"Halo Infinite" is currently scheduled to be released on the next and previous generation of Xbox consoles, with the Xbox Series X and Series S clearly going to have better performance; if you are a "Halo" fan, you should be looking for an Xbox Series X purchase in the next few months Maybe.
