While searching for Xbox Series X inventory may be an infuriating experience at the moment, frustrated prospective buyers can at least take solace in the fact that there are still not many games in Microsoft's latest offering. But it won't last that long. Microsoft demonstrated this yesterday with a showcase of indie games on Twitch.

Titled /twitchgaming Showcase: ID@Xbox, the three-hour stream featured more than 60 games, many of which had new trailers. Here are 10 of the most interesting from the event.

Exhomecha, one of the biggest budget games on display, is a free-to-play online FPS coming to Xbox One, S-series, X-series and PC this August. From the trailer above, the game will feel familiar to fans of "Titanfall," and Series X players will be able to enjoy the game in 4K or 120fps performance mode while enjoying cross-play with other platforms

. Looking at this new trailer, it's still hard to know exactly what to expect from "Voidtrain". There are certainly a lot of FPS elements, but the train leaving the platform in 2022 is going to take you to some very strange places along the way.

The development team behind the lucha librebootup Guacamelee returns with Nobody Saves the World! It's a bullet-hell RPG with an appealing art style and a strong look full of personality. The game is "coming soon" to both the Xbox series and Xbox One, as well as PC, and will be available on Game Pass from the start.

In the first minute of this trailer, it's impossible not to be utterly fascinated by the sight of Karas performing his duties as the Reaper of Death. The game itself is about your crow heading to a "twisted place where nothing has died for centuries" to set things right with an intense dungeon crawler, due out this summer on Xbox One, series consoles, and PC. [It's not just thanks to the stellar cast, which includes James McAvoy, Daisy Ridley, and Willem Defoe. It's an intriguing premise, like an interactive episode of "The Twilight Zone," in which the same dreaded 12-minute time loop repeats itself until you know what's about to happen and find a way to change the outcome, coming soon on PC and Xbox.

Cross The Touryst with Stardew Valley and you might end up with something like Moonglow Bay. A fishing sim mixed with an adventure game, the game will feature an overarching storyline that explores what happened to a recently deceased partner. The game will be released this year on PC and Xbox, and will be available on Game Pass upon release.

If Cyberpunk 2077 isn't action-packed enough for you, you might prefer The Ascent. A solo and co-op action RPG set in a cyberpunk world, it's up to you (and maybe your friends) to pick up the pieces after The Ascent Group collapses and all hell breaks loose in the city.

The fusion of 2D and 3D cel-shading makes "Demon Turf" one of the showcase's standout titles. It will be available on Xbox and PC later this year, but if you want to get a feel for the game beforehand, a demo is currently available.

One of the most soothing Xbox games in the showcase, "Omno" looks to be a thoroughly chilled-out experience, with a vast open world to explore and puzzles to solve. The game will be available on PS4 as well as the Xbox family and PC, but will be available on Game Pass from day one.

While the inclusion of this title may make it seem a bit dated, the 90s style of "The Big Con" is at least a fascinating departure from the vast majority of greenlit games.
